Google, Yahoo Sitemap pings
Integrates with the publish/edit control panel to allow you to automatically ping Google and/or Yahoo’s xml sitemap APIs, notifying them that a change has been made to your xml sitemap. See sitemaps.org for the search enging sitemap specs. You must have a proper sitemap and it must have already been submitted and approved in order for pings to have any effect.
SAEF Calendar v. 1.1
You know that handy little javascript calendar that EE uses in the control panel to let you pick dates? Ever want to use one on the front end- in the standalone edit form- for example? Of course you have- or at least, I’ve seen enough requests on the forums to know that some folks want it. I always said ‘It’s really not all that hard to do with php’- cause it’s really not.
Since Thursday was a slow day, when I got yet another request for the calendar in the SAEF, I figured I’d go ahead and whip up a quick plugin instead of trying to walk folks through the php. Thus I present to you, the SAEF Calendar plugin. Actually, you could use it anywhere you need to insert a date in proper EE date format. But mostly? That’s going to be the SAEF.
Download Lock Pro v. 0.1
This extension to the Download lock module integrates with the Simple commerce module. In English? You can limit it so that only members who have purchased an item using the simple search module may download the item, regardless of member group.
**Note- this extension is in private beta and not available for public download yet.

Download counter extension
An extension built specifically for the download lock module, this provides an easy way to keep and display a count of the number of times a file has been downloaded. It assumes files are associated with entries- and allows you to select up to 4 fields per field group as ‘count’ fields- which can hold monthly or total counts of file downloads.
Works with v.1.0 of the Download lock module.
Download Lock 1.0
Allows you to force downloads and restrict downloads to logged in members or specified member groups. You can optionally keep statistics on the number of times a file has been downloaded- and by whom. Supports multiple mime types (mp3, wmv, pdf, gif etc.) in addition to the original zip files.
Static Field Extension
This is another response to a forum request, a quick little extension that allows you to predefine default content for a custom field. You can set some static text for a custom weblog field (or fields) and when you open the publish page to write a new article, the text will already be sitting there in the specified fields. Different content, in different fields, can be set on a per weblog basis.
No- I really don’t have a clue what you’d use it for, but it presented an interesting challenge on a slow day. The tricky bit was the setting interface. I’m pretty pleased with my creativity on this one. Of course, with 1.5.1, the whole complicated settings issue would now be moot.
Ez_rate
A very simple, very beta ratings module/extension that I wrote up in response to a forum thread- here. This is the first go round with this one- it’s meant to go on a single entry page- and should work with any module- weblog, gallery, anything with an entry id in the url. (Weblog module is the only one it will take a url_title in the url from, at least for now.) There’s a basic stats tag that still needs some thought, and extension that lets you incorporate ratings into the comment form if you don’t want two submit buttons on a page.
Ratings ARE limited to logged in members. That may change, but it’s not a high priority. There’s just no way to keep those folks from ballot stuffing. Feel free to try it out- I could use some feedback on where to go with it. Was a bit of a spontaneous script.
