The quick post interface adds a link next to the upload link on the publish and edit pages of EE. Click the link, a search box pops up. Add a title or keywords, select an amazon category, and get a list of results. You can select one of those results and have the asin, affiliate link and/or small image url added to a custom field.

Of course, you do have to specify the custom fields you want the amazon info going to first- see the installation instructions for details.

Need something added to the pop-up amazon search? This is the place for it. I’ll kick off with a few features I’m planning to add when time permits:

1. Probably ought to page the results- the links are there but no worky.
2. Hm- might be nice to allow option to grab the image and put a copy on your server.

All I’ve spotted so far, but ideas welcome.

Already added:
* The pop-up gives you very limited choices as to formating. For a lot of reasons, the basic info available will remain fairly limited, but I really think a template where the available variables can be combined in whatever display the user wants. Something along the lines of the specialty templates.

Now this is templated. Could probably add some more variables to the template, but big improvement.
